Marco A.S. Netto joined IBM Research - Brazil in January 2011. He has been working with resource management and job scheduling for high performance computing environments since 2000. He is currently involved in several projects on cluster, Grid, and Cloud Computing. These projects investigate SLA management, virtualization, performance evaluation, job scheduling, rescheduling, Quality-of-Service, optimization issues, among others.

Marco completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Melbourne, Australia (2010). He also worked in projects with HP and Dell at the Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He is a member of IEEE since 2006.
