RONG ZENG CAO is a research staff member at IBM Research - China. Dr. Cao holds a Ph.D. degree from the Harbin Institute of Technology and has been a research staff member at IBM Research, China since 2003. His area of expertise is operation research, with a particular interest in the use of analytics and optimization for business problems, such as food safety & traceability, pricing, logistics, business value analysis and risk management. Currently, he is leading a team dedicated to the research in the fields of Smarter Planet, including food safety & traceability, city planning and intelligent transportation system etc.
