Haichuan Wang is a Research Staff Member at IBM Research - China, and now is researching on parallel programming languages and performance tools on multi-core systems. His current work includes providing compiler and runtime support to enable Work-Stealing in X10 language, investigating performance problems and developing tools for Java applications on multi-core platform. His expertise and research interests are JVM, Java language, Java bytecode manipulation, parallel programming models, and performance evaluation and tuning.
Wang joined IBM Research - China in July 2004. Before that, Wang earned the Master's and Bachelor's degrees of Science in Electronic Engineering from Fudan University of China in 2004 and 2001.
