At the Bangalore Lab I lead projects in service science, service engineering, and related areas. I am also responsible for developing IBM India’s program of research in the European FP7 research in ICT, and creating collaboratory relationships with Indian Universities.

2004 - June2008: Manager of the Model Driven Engineering Technologies group at the IBM Haifa Research Laboratory, and core management team member of the MODELPLEX project for the creation of methodologies, infrastructure and tools for model based software engineering. I was responsible for the technical and personnel management of a large research team. In the MODELPLEX project I lead a technical work package involving eleven industrial and academic partner organizations with a total headcount of approximately 20 people in addition to my management responsibilities at IBM. The MODELPLEX project is a continuation of the previous MODELWARE project.

2000-2003: Senior research staff member at the IBM Haifa Research Laboratory, and coordinator of the AGEDIS research project. At the Haifa lab I lead the development and deployment of model based testing tools in IBM worldwide. As coordinator of the AGEDIS project I lead the technical and administrative development of a methodology and tools for automated test generation and execution of distributed software. The AGEDIS consortium comprised seven European industrial and academic partners.
