I joined IBM HRL on September 2010 to become a reasearch staff member in the Machine Learning and Data Mining group. I have a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science (1997), a MSc in Computer Science (2003) and PhD in Computer Science (2010), all obtained from Tel-Aviv University. I did my Master and PhD at Ron Shamir's Computational Genomics Group. My PhD thesis was on computational problems in genome rearrangements - during the evolution of species and in cancer. I continue to collaborate with Ron Shamir under IBM's Open Collaborative Research for clinical genomic analysis.
