Mayuri completed the Master of Science (by research) and PhD from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras in 2010. She had earlier obtained her M.A. in Psychology (Organizational Behavior) from Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, and B.A (Psychology and Economics) from St.Xaviers College, Ahmedabad.
Her research interests focus on service quality, and technology-mediated education, along with topics in organizational behavior and strategy. While interning at IBM IRL Bangalore in 2008, she worked on service quality issues in call centers. She is interested in a research career focusing on services and related areas.She joined the IBM-ISB Collaboratory for Service Science in January 2011.
