Munish is currently working at the IBM Research Collaboratory for Service Science (CoSS) at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India. He joined the IBM India Research Lab in 2007. Since then, his research has focused on workforce management and capacity planning issues for global service delivery. He received his PhD in Electrical Communication Engineering from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in 2004. His research interests lie in the area of performance modeling, optimization and control of stochastic service systems.
