I'm a researcher in the Smarter Energy group at IBM's India Research Lab. In 2012, I graduated with a PhD from the Electrical Engineering Department at the University of California, Los Angeles. At UCLA, I worked with Mani Srivastava at the Networked and Embedded Systems Lab on energy efficient sampling and inferencing in wireless health and smart building technologies. I like to use a mix of compressed sensing, machine learning, low power microcontrollers and analog circuit design to improve systemic energy efficiency.

I'm currently interested in building a system level framework for smart microgrids.
