Professional Associations:  Association for Computational Linguistics

Before joining IBM in 2012, I was a postdoc with Chris Manning and Dan Jurafsky in the Stanford NLP group. Before that, I was a graduate student in the Brown Laboratory for Linguistic Information Processing (BLLIP) advised by Eugene Charniak and Mark Johnson. Among other things, I'm interested in natural language processing (syntax/parsing, morphology, and information extraction), semi-supervised learning, domain adaptation, and of course, self-referential lists of interests.
