Hi! I am a research staff member at IBM Research - Almaden. I joined IBM Research back in 2000 and have been working since then on several areas related to human computer interaction, including my early work on multi-dimensional data visualization, metaphors for complex system configuration, system management software, ethnographic studies of system administrators, semantic search, end-user programming for the web, end-user programmable spreadsheets, and most recently collaboration software for meetings. In general, I am interesting in creating something useful and something that is creative. I love developing software for creative ideas, especially when they find their way to some product and is in the hands of real users.
Currently I am publicity chair for ACM CHIMIT 11. Consider submitting your work to LISA, the premiere conference on HCI of systems administration.
