Stacy is a Research Staff Member in the Business Services Solutions Department. Her research focuses on a number of areas related to government and smarter cities. Her recent work included the study of intra- and inter-organizational information sharing in government, the modeling of data and business processes from municipal governments, the use of cloud computing for smarter cities and the cross-agency coordination of emergency response efforts. Stacy earned her B.S. and M.S. degrees in Computer Science from South Carolina State University and Duke University (respectively). Stacy earned her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science from the University of Maryland at College Park.
