Joel's Experiments - overview

I like to experiment with almost anything I can get my hands on.  My best project ideas usually start from lunch-time conversations when people tell me that something is impossible to do.  Usually when someone tells me that something is impossible, I get an urge to show that it is in fact possible.  Maybe not cost-effective or efficient, and usually not a small amount of effort, but possible.

Unfortunately, I also take on challenges faster than I can finish them, so I often have several projects on the go at any given time.  This slows down my overall progress, but I also learn more about various fields and often there is interaction between them. Yaniv says my projects are recursive, since I have to start a new project to solve a problem encountered in the current project, sometimes several layers deep.
