Rolf Clauberg: Professional Biography


 


Education :

Diploma in physics - 1980 - University of Cologne/Germany
Dr.rer.nat (Ph.D in science) - 1984 - University of Cologne/Germany
Both thesis works have been performed at the Institute
of Solid State Research of the Forschungszentrum Jülich (KFA) in Jülich/Germany (former name: Kernforschungsanlge Jülich GmbH) in the field of spin-resolved photoemission and included experimental as well as theoretical work. Part of the experimental work was done at the synchrotron radiation laboratories LURE of the University of Paris-South at Orsay/France and BESSY at Berlin.

I joined IBM at the Zurich Research Laboratory.

1985-1990 :

Development of a contactless testing method for very high speed VLSI circuits
