Dr. Cheryl Kieliszewski is a research scientist at IBM Research – Almaden and has over 15 years of experience in research and applied human factors engineering, user experience, and service design. In addition, she has been the technical assistant to the Almaden vice president and lab director, and has managed a team of researchers and software engineers focused on the research, design, and implementation of advanced analytics for improved business intelligence. Most recently, Cheryl divides her time between two project areas: as the service design lead of a technical capability for composite modeling and simulation; and as the client experience architect for a cloud-based research service. She received her Ph.D. from Virginia Tech in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Her professional accomplishments include several issued patents, published papers, speaker, and co-editor of the "Handbook of Service Science".
