Hamideh completed her Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of South Australia (2011). Her thesis is entitled “Optimal Placement of Passing Bays in Underground Mines”. She worked as a tutor, practical supervisor and research assistant at UniSA and at Curtin University during her Masters and Ph.D. studies. Prior to moving to Australia, she held a position in the IT department of United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Tehran office for four years. Being in the rich science and technology environment for many years, Hamideh can continue to apply her mathematical and computing skills across many industries.
