Ying completed her PhD study in Monash University and submitted her PhD thesis in protein analysis using deep learning. She also has experience in applying proababilistic graphical models to different tasks including named entity resolution and weather prediction.
Her research interests include deep learning, probabilistic graphical models, bioinformatics, natural language processing and the application of machine learning techniques in general.
