Benjamin Edwards is a postdoctoral researcher in the Cogntive Security Services group at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center. He received his PhD from the University of New Mexico in 2016 under the advisement of Stephanie Forrest in 2016. His research blends the fields of security, data science and complex systems. Highlights include applying statistical
models to global security data, developing agent-based models of attacker behavior and defender response and game theoretic models of cyberwar attribution and respose. Other work has spanned cryptography free privacy preserving data mining techniques, scaling in biological and computer networks, and software regulation policy.
