I joined IBM Research in June 2016. I am a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Computational Biology Center, where I work under Guillermo Cecchi.
My primary research interest is in application of machine learning to problems in computational semantics. I am also interested in applying machine learning to neuroscientific and genetic data. My theoretical interests are in spectral learning/learning theory, graphical models, and nonparametric models.
In August 2016 a paper written by me, Ben Bergen, and Roger Levy won the Best Paper Award at ACL.
I received my PhD from UCSD in 2016. Before that I received my BA from Columbia University in 2008.
