Hazar Yueksel joined IBM Research – Zurich, Switzerland, in April 2013 as a predoctoral researcher, where he conducted research into algorithms and architectures for high-speed, high performance, low-power, low-complexity, low-latency transceiver implementations. As of January 2018, Hazar is a research scientist with the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, NY, USA.
His research interests include communication systems, machine learning security, and signal processing. His publication record can be found in his Google Scholar profile. He regularly reviews papers for conference proceedings and transactions, such as IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Regular Papers, IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration Systems, and Sensors.
Hazar received the degrees of B.Sc. in electrical and electronics engineering from Bilkent Üniversitesi, Turkey, in May 2010, M.Sc. cum Laude in electronics engineering from the Politecnico di Milano, Italy, in December 2012, and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland, in June 2017. Between July 2017 and December 2017, he was a postdoctoral research scientist with Columbia University, NY, USA.
