I am currently working in a group that explores applications for AI planning. In the past I have worked on
- Knowledge representation and reasoning. We developed a highly scalable ontological reasoning engine called SHER for OWL ontologies. In this project we also explore practical uses for OWL ontologies such as SNOMED in the space of healthcare.
- Data management for graphs, specifically how to store graph data efficiently in a relational database.
- Data integration problems such as aligning models and aligning schemas across disparate datasets.
