I am a software engineer working in IBM Research - Almaden, in San Jose, California. I graduated from University of California, Davis, with a BS in computer science and engineering.
As a member of Cloud Service and Design Analytics team, I build prediction models and develop analytical tools to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of cloud services, by using both statistical methods and machine learning techniques. My ultimate goal is to make business solutions more intelligent.
In my senior year at University of California, Davis, I designed and implemented a simulated 3D interactive virtual classroom to evaluate the behavior of children with ADHD and to help researchers diagnose and treat children with such conditions. This tool was chosen as one of ten Capstone Senior Design Projects by the School of Medicine, University of California, Davis. My other project highlights include using ANN to classify portraits by gender, using Alpha Beta Pruning to implement a bot that plays the game Connect Four, and using various machine learning models to do classification.
I am interested in data mining, machine learning, computer vision, NLP, and Robotics.
