What I do
As Manager of Communications at the IBM R&D Labs in Israel, I work with many fascinating individuals at the IBM Research – Haifa and the IBM Israel Development Lab.
In my role as Manager of Communications, my team includes writers, designers, and a web master. Working together, we tell the outside world about new technologies being invented at our lab – whether through social media, events, or media outreach.
I have a deep passion for community work and am proud that I’ve been deeply involved in the Ladies Circle, both as a volunteer and an executive, since 1999. For the past 10 years, I’ve been leading the lab’s Corporate Responsibility and Community Relations activities. This means initiating new endeavors that bring the best of our researchers and developers to the community through outreach—whether through tutoring, mentoring, or working together on technologies like robotics or analytic. My job is to come up with the programs and then bring together the IBM volunteers with programs to support women in technology, youth at risk of failing school, or minorities who want to know what hi-tech is all about.
