I am a research staff member in Medical Imaging Analytics group at Haifa Research Lab. I joined IBM Research in 2014. Prior to that I was a Computer Vision reseracher at several Israeli companies.
I hold a BSc. and MSc. in Aerospace Engineering from Technion-Isreal Institude of Technology and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Tel-Aviv University.
My research area is in Computer Vision previously focused on Stereo vision, Shape from X, optical flow, visual tracking and segmentation. Prior to IBM-Research I worked on 3D reconstruction from focus sensing with variational framework and GPU computing, as well as human action recognition. My current research deals with detection and description of clinical findings in radiological images using Deep Learning.
