Vadim Ratner is a computer scientist with experience in electrical engineering, applied math and biomedical imaging. He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of computer vision in both academia and industry, and 5 years in software development.
He received his PhD and BsC degrees from the Technion. Before joining IBM he held positions of a research associate in Stony Brook University and an algorithm researcher in Emza - Visual Sense.
His current research interests include optimization problems and variational methods with applications in optical flow, object detection and classification.
