I am a research scientist, working in the area of Artifical Intelligence. I'd joined IBM Research Labs (India) in November 2015. My research interests fall broadly in the area of machine learning, deep learning, stochastic optimization. I am actively involved in applying these to various problems spanning with application pertaining to natural language intelligence, image analytics and data analytics.
Prior to joining IBM, I’d worked at Samsung Advanced Institute of Research India as a research scientist, CNRS France as research associate. Prior to that I was a postdoctoral researcher at University of California Santa Cruz and Berkeley. I hold a Doctorate from INRIA France in Computer Science, and Master of Science from IISc Bangalore.
Besides Artificial Intelligence, I have also worked extensively in the area of stochastic
control and game theory, markov decision process, mean field theory and applied in wide range of computer network problems earlier.
