I am a researcher working in the field of NLP with focus on Indian languages.

Earlier, I was part of Cognitive Education Solutions Group, where was one of the key contributors to Watson Tutor and Medical School Tutor -- both being conversational natural language intelligent tutoring systems.

I did my B.E. (Computer Engineering) from Atmiya Institute of Technology and Science, Rajkot in 2010. After that I joined the PhD program at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) - Delhi under the guidance of Dr. Richa Singh and Dr. Mayank Vatsa. I am fortunate to have had the opportunities of working with Dr. Afzel Noore as a Visiting Scholar at West Virginia University, and Dr. Ajay Kumar as a Research Exchange Student at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. I was recipient of TCS Research Scholarship during my PhD.

My current research interests are in the areas of Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Machine Learning, Biometrics, and Natural Language Processing.
