Kentarou Fukuda received his Ph.D. in Information and Computer Sciences from Osaka University in 2000, and then he joined IBM Research - Tokyo. His research interests include Aaccessibility, Web application development, and Multimedia systems. In accessibility area, he leads open source project Eclipse Accessibility Tools Framework as a co-lead, and contributed to several standards such as JIS X 8341-3, WAI-ARIA, etc. 
He is currently leading a technical curriculum design of "Access Blue" (long team internship program for PwD students) and social implementation and dissemination of barrier-free navigation system.
