My primary research interests lie in decision theory/analysis, as applied to various decision problems in management science, artificial intelligence and machine learning. My current interests include topics such as preference models, graphical models, value of information and data-driven decision analysis. My applied work has spanned several domains, including sales, energy, business services, transportation, consumer products and public policy. I am interested in communicating the fundamental concepts of decision analysis to a broader audience, and in bringing decision analysis to the forefront of prescriptive analytics. Recently, I have also pursued research in the field of computational creativity.
