My current research focuses on compiler, ABI and micro-architecture optimizations for dynamic programming languages, such as Python, Ruby, PHP and Lua, including Just in Time compilers such as PyPy. I also work on Open Source strategy, ecosystem and community governance.
I am the maintainer of the the POWER / PowerPC configuration of the GNU C Compiler, especially for AIX, and assist with other Free Software Foundation utilities. I previously have worked on Parallel Fast Force Summation Algorithms a class of N-body/Particle Simulation Numerical Methods and Hierarchical Solvers (Multigrid / Adaptive Mesh Refinement)
