Sasha is a research staff member in Healthcare Informatics group, Department of Computer Science, where he works on algorithms for mining patients' medical history data. Prior to that, he studied privacy preserving data mining and information sharing, disclosure auditing, and the foundations of data privacy.
Sasha is a Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining Professional Interest Community (KDD PIC) co-chair for IBM Almaden.
