Marnie Hoover is a PMP® & IBM Certified Senior Project Manager in IBM Accessibility. Currently she is kicking off several projects that integrate accessibility and design. Most recently she was the lead project manager for IBM Research’s Aging Strategic Initiative, coordinating client projects, internal solution development, pipeline development and cross-lab and cross-team activities. Prior to this her responsibilities related to accessibility were driving internal awareness and programs to make IBM an accessible workplace, as well as leading accessible education industry solution development where she led research asset commercialization efforts, process optimization activities, and cross business unit projects to influence and drive accessible services, solutions, education and workplace. She works closely with other areas of IBM Research, Watson Health, Watson Internet of Things, Human Resources, Sales & Distribution and the Chief Information Officer’s Office. Ms. Hoover joined IBM in 1996. Previously, she was a Manager for IBM eBusiness Web Hosting in various capacities, including helping build IBM’s hosting business and establishing their foundation for operational processes and efficiency. She is a graduate of the University of Central Florida with a degree in Finance.
