In my current role, I manage the day-to-day business operations of the Cambridge Research Lab. I also manage logistics for academic and customer events and coordinate outside communications.
In previous roles at IBM, I managed a council of world-wide customers of IBM Collaboration tools and Social Software. The council was the primary source for informing our long-term direction and product decisions, and was often involved with IBM Research projects.
I also created a customer program that invited non-technical business users to partner with the product teams to design products. We involved these end users in surveys, focus groups, iterative design reviews, and user studies.
Prior to that, I managed a UX team working on the design of communication and collaboration tools. Our team worked closely with IBM Research to have a link between products in the market and innovations being developed, which is originally how I got acquainted with the ongoing innovations being done at IBM Research.
