Mohamed Mohamed is a Research Staff Member with IBM's Almaden Research Center in San Jose, CA, member of the Ubiquitous Platforms. Mohamed is currently working on different projects that are primarily related to PaaS including data persistence management and SLAs management. He is one of the main contributors in designing and implementing rSLA language and framework. He is also one of the main contributors to CloudFoundry persistence support. Mohamed is a main contributor to the design, developement and deployment of the IBM Storage for Containers (aka Ubiquity https://github.com/IBM/ubiquity). He is a participant in the CNCF storage workgroup (https://github.com/cncf/wg-storage).
During the last years, he was working on different aspects of management of Cloud resources and was involved in different projects (CompatibleOne, EasiClouds, OpenPaaS) as well as standardization efforts (OCCI).
Mohamed published scientific papers in high ranked conferences and journals in his field of research. He also served on many program and organization committees of conferences and workshops.
He holds a PhD in computer science from Telecom SudParis, Institut Mines-Telecom, Paris, France and a Master's degree in computer science from the University of Tunis el Manar, Tunis, Tunisia.
