profile
I am the Operations manager for Medical Sieve Grand Challenge and Watson Health Imaging organization, reporting to IBM Fellow Dr. Tanveer Syeda-Mahmood. In my role, I am responsible for various initiatives including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, resource planning, capital/expenses, data license agreements, intern program, Learning Series, space planning, patents, ergonomics, and compliance responsibilities. I have recently undertaken operations responsibilities for the RAD-AID project, a high-visibility project involving an international non-profit organization that brings advanced medical imaging and radiology to underserved regions. This partnership is 4-pronged, spanning IBM Research, IBM Corporate Citizenship, RAD-AID, and John Hopkins Medicine to launch a mobile healthcare van in the underserved communities of Baltimore and DC areas.
