Naga A (Arun) Ayachitula           

Arun Ayachitula is a Distinguished Engineer at IBM Research, Thomas J Watson Research Center. Arun is a recognized leader and visionary in data, analytics and infusing AI in automation of IT Services Management. He is the inventor and chief architect of the Cognitive Delivery Insights (CDI) platform a precusor to Multicloud Management Platform AIOps. He is directly responsible for driving the research and development of ~40+ IT analytics capabilities thru the platform across multiple IT domains that drive the automation/transformation and efficiencies in GTS. He led the definition of Cognitive Delivery Insights (CDI) & AIOps  platform which enables structured and unstructured data, batch and real time streaming runtimes, and the agility of analytics driven automation. His focus in the last few years has been on innovations and leadership in building a the AIOps platform based on leading information management technologies and innovations to deliver the scale and performance required by Global Technology Services (GTS) service delivery clients worldwide. Arun joined IBM Software Group in the year 2000 and IBM Research in 2004. Arun has 24+ patents granted, ~50+ publications/articles and has received 3 Research Division awards, 1 Corporate Award and 1 Best of IBM Award for this contributions to the technology and its business impact achieved during leadership positions he held in Research working with Software Group and the GTS Services Delivery Organization. As a Distinguished Engineer, his responsibilities include driving technical leadership in an Enterprise Hybrid IT Service Management through advanced analytics and automation and its transformation into the Cloud.
