My business unit is ResearchMy Marketing Team is US IMTMy Ops Team is North America
I joined the Academy of Technology in 2010.
I was hired in IBM Burlington in 1994 and worked on 16Meg DRAMs after graduating with a Ph.D. in EE from UCLA. After transferring the 0.25um technology in Burlington, I moved down to EFK in 1998 and worked on DRAM technology including the world's 1st vertical transistor technology through 2003. In 2004-2006, worked on the 2nd generation 90nm advanced CMOS technology that is the heart of all gaming processors (XBOX360, Nintendo and SONY PS3). After a brief stint in 2005 in Manufacturing characterization where we focused on SONY's chip, I moved back to development to work on the next generation of technology enhancing unit process elements. Subsequently, I worked on the 45nm bulk technology programs (both low power and higher performance). Consequently I worked on 32 and 28nm hi-K bulk technologies (the 32nm is on the iphone-5 and Samsung S3 phones and the latest i-pad). The last 2 years I have been working on 20nm planar hi-K RMG technology and just started working on 14nm SOI and 10nm technologies.
