Dr. Richard Goodwin is Principal Researcher and Manager of the Computational Creativity Research Group at the IBM T.J. Watson Research Center in Yorktown Heights, NY. The group's research focuses on AI and computational creativity. His research interests include machine learning, deep neural nets, computational creativity, semantic web services, intelligent agents for planning, scheduling and decision support. He was awarded the 1998 Wagner Prize in operations research for work on agent-based scheduling. His research has been published in numerous journals and conferences including the Journal of Logic and Computation, ICAPS, IEEE Robotics and Automation, WWW and the IBM Systems Journal.
