Shubhi Asthana           

I am a Senior Software Engineer working at IBM Almaden Research Center, San Jose, California. My research and development work is in the area of Cloud Services, IoT & Predictive Analytics.

I have 5 years of experience in conducting research and developing end-to-end solutions and analytical tools for managing complex services on the cloud. My vision is to develop integrated predictive analytics solutions with high impact on services.

My work has appeared at top-tier venues including SCC, AI & MS, ICSOC, INFORMS and NIPS ML4HC among others.

My projects received the IBM Corporate Award 2020(https://w3.ibm.com/w3publisher/ctr/corporate-technical-recognition-ctr/corporate-technical-awards/2020-cta) as well as we were finalists for the Franz Edelman Award 2019 (press coverage : https://w3.ibm.com/w3publisher/gts-global-solutions-practice/communications/exec-comms/092ab0d0-8016-11ea-94d8-6d9489ceb0bb) . Additionally, I have received three OTAA's (Outstanding Technical Achievement Award) in 2018, 2019 for leading two projects in Solutioning and Win Prediction modeling. Also, I was given an honorable mention for Making a Difference in the community at the 2018 WEST (Women in the Enterprise of Science & Technology) organisation's Annual Giving Back awards.

I have completed my Masters in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University, USA.
