She joined the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center in 2008. She worked as Process Engineer in MRL from 2008-2010. She Maintained weekly qualifications of RIE tools and supporte the group in deposition. Her current responsibilities and interests are in integration and fabrication support for Silicon-Photonics Packaging. In 2010 she joined Silicon Photonics group to support fabrication and Integartion work for Ge photodetectors and waveguides.
Swetha was born in Hyderabad, India. She received her B.Tech. degree in Metallurgy and Materilas Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Techonological University Hyderabad, India, in 2005 and a M.Sc. degree in materials science and engineering at Missouri University of Science and Techonology (UMR) in 2008. Her Maters degree dissertation focused on Measurement of Dielectric constant of BaTiO3 powders using Imepedance spectroscopy.
