Tyler Baldwin           

Tyler Baldwin is a Research Staff Member at IBM Almaden Research Center.  He is a member of the Medical Sieve Radiology Grand Challenge project, focusing on text mining and clinical reasoning.  Prior to joining the Medical Sieve project he was a postdoctoral researcher on the SystemT project, working on social media text normalization.  His research interests fall broadly into the category of natural language processing, with a focus on the interpretation and processing of noisy and difficult data.  He received his Ph.D. in computer science from Michigan State University in 2012.
