Ana Stanojevic received B.Sc. degree in Computer and Software Engineering from University of Belgrade and M.Sc. degree in Communication Systems from EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in Lausanne, Switzerland. She was a recipient of EPFL Excellence Fellowship for 2 consecutive years.
In 2019, she joined IBM Research – Zurich for her Master's thesis with the topic: File Classification Based on Spiking Neural Networks. Since October 2019, Ana is a Predoctoral Researcher in Neuromorphic Computing and I/O Links groups and since February 2020 she is an external PhD student at EPFL in the Laboratory of Computational Neuroscience supervised by Prof. Dr. Wulfram Gerstner.
Her current research interests are biologically inspired machine learning solutions, encompassing biologically plausible learning algorithms, neural and synapse dynamics and neural coding schemes. Her broader interests are connected to the Internet of Things technology.
