Christopher Sciacca is currently the communications manager for IBM's Research in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia and South America.

Christopher started his IBM career in November 2001. His first position with IBM was the strategic relations manager for IBM's Product Lifecycle Management organization working with French partner Dassault Systemes. In this role he was responsible for media and analyst relations and for supporting sales in the marketing of IBM's CATIA, ENOVIA and SMARTEAM applications.

In 2005, Christopher joined the recently formed Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) organization within IBM. In this position, he was responsible for external and executive communications where he promoted the competitive advantage of a supply chain that is globally integrated end to end. This eventually paved the way for the announcement of several supply chain Business Transformation Outsourcing services and IBM's strategy of global integration. During his tenure, IBM's ISC received global accolades as a leading supply chain recognized by both AMR Research and Managing Automation magazine.

In August 2006, Christopher took an assignment in Vienna, Austria to help establish a communications program for IBM Global Technology Services, as the division began to ramp up in Eastern Europe. After his assignment was complete he elected to stay in the region and joined IBM's Global Delivery organization. Working from IBM's largest European delivery center in Brno, Czech Republic, he was responsible for external, internal and executive communications for both IT Delivery and Managed Business Process Delivery for more than 18 delivery centers across Europe and Africa.

Christopher is a citizen of both the United States and Cyprus. In his free time he enjoys skiing, squash, driving fast cars, photography, traveling, collecting fonts and practicing his German.

Christopher has a Bachelors of Science in Advertising degree from the New York Institute of Technology.
