Haig A. Peter joined IBM in 2000. He brings with him over 20 years of sales experience in retail, distribution and IT. Haig holds a Sound Engineering degree.
Haig is the Executive Briefing Consultant at the IBM THINKLab Research, IBM Research Zurich. Haig focuses on the following industries: Retail, Consumer Products, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Travel & Transportation and Media & Entertainment. Haig's responsibility is to act as ambassador at all times representing IBM, IBM research. Astonish clients with our capabilities & foster long term relationships, deliver GTO speeches, facilitate demonstrations and facility tours and to develop and maintain expertise in specific industries, growth play topics and a personal network of SME's in the global research community.
Prior to his current role, Haig was working as a Client Executive responsible for a Territory of Large Enterprises, Strategic Consulting, including business plan & sales strategy development.
Haig also served as the Major Markets sales segment leader for the Centre for Learning and Development. In this role he is responsible for driving consultative development of the sales executives, leaders and sellers as part of the global Sales Eminence transformation programme. Haig has delivered initiative programmes utilising external subject matter experts from companies including London Business School in order to drive higher value in the skill development initiatives aligned to the strategic priorities of the corporation.
Haig also served as senior sales specialist for STG, consistently delivering strong results and launching significant initiatives for the growth of STG. Previously based in Geneva, Haig served as sales specialist for STG where he was responsible for large accounts, Integrated Accounts and the driving the channel business.
