Konstantinos Tsoukalas joined IBM Researh - Zurich in 2020 as a PhD fellow of the Quantum Technology & Computing group. His research focus is on the development of quantum dot arrays in silicon for spin qubits.
Konstantinos holds an M.Sc. in Quantum Engineering (with distinction) from Imperial College London, UK, for his thesis research entitled “Near field - Quantum Dot Coupling in Plasmonic Nanoresonators”. He also holds an Integrated Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), Greece, where he specialized on Electronic circuits, Telecommunations and Physics. Prior to joining IBM, Konstantinos worked as a postgraduate researcher in the Institute of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (INN) of NCSR Demokritos in Athens as well as in the Spin Qubits group of QuTech, TU Delft in the Netherelands.
