I have been staffed in research since fall of 2017 and work on applied artificial intelligence solutions. Before, I was with CERN after having been awarded a senior fellowship in software engineering.
In 2011, I received my doctorate in computer science from EPFL ( Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne ) under the supervision of Prof. Martin Hasler in a mere three year sprint.
I hold a Masters in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Edinburgh and have been awarded the outstanding thesis award ( 2nd in class ) . My first degree is in Physics from the University of Athens. These are packed with notable software engineering industrial experience. I joined Switzerland after being awarded the scholarship of exchellence for international students and started joined studies at EPFL and IDIAP.
In my free time I think about AI and how to bend the universe. When not doing that, I enjoy sport, movies, good food, friends and family.
