Nadya Ostromohov is currently a predoctoral researcher conducting her research in collaboration between Precision Diagnostics Group at IBM-research laboratory in Zurich and Microfluidic Technologies Laboratory at Technion - Israel Institute of Technology as part of an EID (european industrial doctorates) program, funded by the EU. Her research focuses on development of novel devices and technologies for biomolecular analysis. Her work includes developing methods for characterization of reaction kinetics and molecular interactions, rapid and highly sensitive specific detection of nucleic acids on a chip, and development of scanning probe technologies for patterning and interaction with surface-based samples.

Her research interests are microfluidics, rapid/point of care diagnostics, lab-on-a-chip systems, medical devices, molecular interactions and analysis, electrokinetic transport, analytical and numerical modeling, image analysis, post processing and device mechanical design.
