Wojciech joined Quantum-Safe Cloud & Systems group in IBM Research Zurich in July 2020. Just before that, he worked as a research assistant at the Systems Engineering Group at TU Dresden, Germany. Earlier during his professional career, he worked on a wide range of projects starting from creating the cloud infrastructure on top of the CERN CMS computing farm, through building a tourism-oriented e-commerce startup, or development of the VW ConectedVan fleet monitoring system.
While working at IBM Research, he conducts Ph.D. studies where he investigates how to enhance the security of trusted computing techniques with hardware extensions available in modern CPUs, such as Intel SGX. The doctorate studies are under the supervision of Prof. Christof Fetzer from TU Dresden. Wojciech's research interests cover confidential computing, trusted boot, trusted execution environments, hardware security modules, virtualization, and cloud computing.
