Panagiotis Hadjidoukas (Chatzidoukas) is a visiting scientist at IBM Research, Zurich, Switzerland. He received the Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Patras, Greece in 2003. In 2013 and 2015 he was a co-recipient and finalist, respectively, of the Gordon Bell Prize from the Association for Computing Machinery. His research interests include runtime systems and libraries for parallel computing, high performance computing, parallel numerical optimization and uncertainty quantification and, more recently, automation of artificial intelligence.
