CoViD Assist - overview
CoViD Assist gathers IBMer(s) requests for critical resources such as ambulances, oxygen, medicine, hospital beds, transportation, and online consultation with a doctor, and connects them to volunteers, and volunteers-verified-resource-vendors across various channels such as telegram, whatsapp, and Slack
A Watson Assistant powered bot gathers the resource request along with all the mandatory information required to support it. On successful gathering of the request it records a ServiceNow ticket, and simultaneously publishes the requests on volunteer channels in telegram and IBM Slack workspaces. Area based squads of IBM volunteers pick these requests and work with the requestor to provide the necessary guidance and support in fulfilling those requests. A Cognos analytics dashboard helps observe request trends, and plan for them.
