OPERA (H2020 EU) - overview

OPERA: lOw Power heterogeneous architecture for nExt generation of smaRt infrastructure and platforms in industrial and societal Applications

EU funded research project under the Horizon 2020 programme, ICT4 (Next generation servers, micro-server and highly parallel embedded computing systems)

OPERA project aims at supporting these ambitious challenges with technological innovation in three main aspects:
• Design next generation Low Power (LP) and Ultra-Low Power (ULP) systems
• Improve energy efficiency in computing by means of heterogeneous architectures
• Provide smart and energy efficient solution for the interaction between embedded smart systems and remote small form-factor data centers
